Ven. Ram Rim was a student of Green Umbrella English Center from 2009-2012. He built capacities by Green Umbrella in many skills such as leadership, design thinking and curriculum design, self-development, and English Language. He wants to become an English teacher in the future.

From his high commitments in learning, in 2017, he got a full scholarship to study at the one university in Phnom Penh. And to give back to Green Umbrella, he applied for work as an English teacher volunteer at Karuna Kumar School for three months from February until April 2019.

Ven. Rim comes from a poor family with nine members. His parents are farmers. He was born in Chambok District, Putsor Commune, Bati District, Takeo Province.

It takes 10 minutes to ride a bicycle from Green Umbrella to his home. Ven. Rim  is 23 years old. He has a lot of effort to finished high school in 2016 under the support of Green Umbrella.
