Layka lives in Putsor Village, Putsor Commune, Bati District, Takeo Province. She was born on November 22, 2010, and she is the youngest member of the family. Her father is a farmer, and her mother is a factory worker.

Layka studies grade 2. When she started class with Karun Kumar School, she felt nervous. She sometimes cried when she presented to her classmates and her parents.

After about two years at Karuna Kumar School, she felt confident with the presentation to her classmates and parents during the student assembly. Now, she is a smart student and also a class leader in grade 2.

Layka said that “In the future, I want to be a teacher“. Being a Teacher, I can share my knowledge with kids in the next generation and help to develop my community.
