Annual Report 2022

In December we celebrated the 10th anniversary since the founding of the Green Umbrella Organization, in December 2012 We have seen many positive results from our efforts since then. In particular, the children we have been training for many years are now becoming young people with potential, courage, curiosity, intelligence and good health. Setting and striving for their future goals is no longer an obstacle as they build their self-confidence. The students’ parents have also established responsibility for their children’s learning habits through increased collaboration with schools.

While in 2022 Green Umbrella faced many challenges, we maintain our efforts to deliver all of our project activities. The main project is in Early Childhood Education, which provides education to children aged 4 to 6 years old. This year, we have a total of 128 students across K1 and K2 classes. The Youth Program continues to support our 76 former students/ alumni currently studying in high school.

We also continue to support four other projects: [1] Library project at Kampong Cham for students and the entire community; [2] Health Center in Putsor Commune and [3] Cambodian Child Nutrition Project. We are pleased to showcase our activities and results in the 2022 Annual_Report

The Green Umbrella organization plays a role to support and help children, young people and communities through our projects. We need continued assistance from friends and donors in order to move forward into the longer term, and to continue the good work we have been doing.

We truly appreciate all the donors and partners who have contributed to support Green Umbrella organization to date, and especially in 2022. We wish you the best for the upcoming year, 2023.
