After a few tears in those early days, they are now loving coming to school to learn and play. It is so nice to be back to some kind of normality after a tough 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>We were delighted to welcome\u00a0board members, Liza Rowan (from Singapore) and Julia Alden (from the UK)\u00a0to Green Umbrella after two years without any international visitors. Liza and Julia worked closely with our support and teaching staff on enhancing the Early Childhood Education and Youth Programs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They share\u00a0their experience below, as do other volunteers.\u00a0You can also read about the Robotics Youth Program\u00a0which is supported by student volunteers from Phnom Penh. This has been so well received by local youth and\u00a0we are excited to see what kind of robots they create in due course.<\/p>\n<p>GU looks forward to hosting more volunteers throughout 2022, especially as travel restrictions continue to be lifted.
