font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">You will :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">feel connected to the Green Umbrella community.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">understand that diversity and difference are valuable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">learn about Cambodian culture, history, country life, food, jobs, transport, housing and what life is like for marginalised people in a developing country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">understand the value of education and how many children overcome difficult physical, social, emotional and economic barriers as they strive to reach their full potential.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">learn more about Green Umbrella\u2019s NGO work, education programs and social enterprise projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">appreciate the ways that people are trying make a difference in Cambodia.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">learn about sustainable development and ecotourism projects through hands on action and collaboration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">learn the Khmer language, and practice it daily.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\"><strong>How long can you volunteer for?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">You can volunteer with Green Umbrella for up to a year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\"><strong>What expertise do we need?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">English speakers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">We need teachers, who can work with our teachers and model teaching in groups, differentiation, classroom management, reading circles, library lessons, reading aloud, hands on Maths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">We need people who are expert in information technologies and are able to share their knowledge with our teachers, students and office staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">A\u00a0 library teacher who can work with our librarian to set up a borrowing system, develop library lessons and promote reading to our students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">A skilled administrator, accountant, office manager or anyone experienced in human resources, to help us organised and put structures in place in Green Umbrella\u2019s office.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">A green fingered person who can help by further developing our vegetable garden and grounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Moreover, we need anyone who is happy and successful in their life, talented in their business or has other skills so that they can share their knowledge to all our students, our community and Green Umbrella\u2019s staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\"><strong>Where do you stay?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">There are 3 choices of accommodation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">You can stay in a Khmer style house on your own.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">With a Khmer family (great for practicing Khmer)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;
